Dur Hospitality’s Hotel Operations has scored a momentous milestone after winning eight new awards at the prestigious Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Awards 2019 during a grand gala event held at the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur on October 20th.
Makarem Hotels, the Saudi hotel brand created by Dur Hotel Operations to provide hospitality services for religious visitors in KSA’s holy cities, won the Best Hotel Group on Global Level, an award that recognizes the brand’s positive resonance internationally.
Dur’s Annakheel Hotel & Resort Obhur boasted four awards for the Middle East’s Best Culinary Experience, Best Honeymoon Hotel, and Best Resort Hotel, as well as Saudi Arabia’s Best Family Resort. Additionally, Riyadh Airport Marriott Hotel grabbed three awards for Middle East’s Best Airport Hotel and Best Wedding Hotel, and Saudi Arabia’s Best Hotel Service.
Mr. Hassan Ahdab, President of Hotel Operations at Dur Hospitality, voiced Dur’s delight at having achieved such outstanding global recognition. He said the multiple awards achieved this year further enhances Dur’s standing as one of the best hospitality experts in Saudi Arabia and the region.
This new recognition reinforces Makarem Hotels’ leading position in the local, regional, and global hospitality markets. “These victories complement Makarem Hotels’ eminent position as a prominent hotel brand,” Ahdab said.
In 2018, Makarem Hotels won the Haute Grandeur Global Hotel Award for Saudi Arabia’s Leading Hotel Group. In 2017, Makarem Hotels received three awards from the World Travel Awards, most notably Saudi Arabia’s Leading Hotel Group award and Saudi Arabia's Leading Resort award for Makarem Annakheel Village.
