Makarem Hotels, the Saudi hotel brand by Dur Hospitality, specialized in providing spiritual hospitality services in KSA’s holy cities, has announced that a number of its chefs won 3 awards at HORECA 2018, the biggest international food, beverage and hospitality exhibition in Saudi Arabia, which was organized by the Saudi event management and marketing company “SEMARK”, at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Centre from 27 to 29 November 2018.
Chef Mustafa Ali, Head of Chefs at Makarem Ajyad Makkah, and Chef Malak Al-Zahrani won the gold medal for the Saudi cuisine, while Shaikh Dawood, from Makarem Annakheel, received a certificate of merit for the seafood dishes category.
In this regard, Mr. Hassan Ahdab, Hotel Operations President at Dur Hospitality, said, “these awards cast a light on Makarem Ajyad Makkah’s strong position in the hospitality sector, particularly in the Western Region, a position it acquired through distinguished services, professional teams and a very strategic location"
He stressed, “these awards not only recognize the quality driven culinary experience in our hotels, but also represent the high-level standards maintained by the hotel and the in-house staff, who work hard to enhance the services provided, thereby uplifting the spirit of competition among the various hotels operating in the Kingdom”
During this month, Makarem Ajyad Makkah hosts the Biryani Festival every Friday night. It also serves a wide selection of appetizing dishes that satisfy our diverse guests. Moreover, Makarem Annakheel offers a BBQ night every Thursday on the terrace with a buffet of the most delicious dishes, and a seafood night every Friday.
