In line with its strategy to engage the young Saudis in the promising hospitality sector, Dur Hospitality shows its supports to “Tahseen” Program as a Golden sponsor.
The initiative, generated by Marriott International, was launched under the umbrella of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, held at the Ritz Carlton Riyadh Hotel on Monday 5th of December 2016.
Mr. Alex Kyriakidis, President and Managing Director Middle East & Africa, Marriott International, attended the launching ceremony along with representatives from Cornell University, the renowned university in the hospitality sector, representatives from both the Public and Private sectors, local and regional Media in addition to hundreds of young Saudis. A total of 50 Saudi Students joined the promising program of developing hospitality leaders, which guarantees their employment once they graduate next year.
Dur’s support of this initiative comes in response to the rising demand for professional Saudi expertise in the hospitality market.

“Tahseen” program, an initiative of Marriott International Group in collaboration with Cornell University and INJAZ Al-Arab (INJAZ) organization, aims at enhancing the path of the young Saudi hospitality generation and seeks to develop those talents in the region.
Tahseen is also shaped to facilitate such initiatives across the Middle East & Africa region, thus setting a new standard in the concept of the hospitality industry among Arab youth.
