As part of its efforts to uplift the localization of the accommodation sector and attract qualified national calibers, Dur Hospitality participated in the 25th Job Fair held by the Riyadh College of Technology. Additionally, Dur also took part in the job fair organized by the College of Technology in Makkah, Makkah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), Labour Office, The National Labour Gateway (TAQAT) and the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) to localize professions in the tourist accommodation sector and in the technical and engineering fields in Makkah Chamber of Commerce.
Dur Hospitality’s participation in such job fairs comes in line with the recent announcement of its expansion strategy, depicting the company’s keenness in being a part of important platforms that bring together young skills and talents, as well as displaying the company’s available job opportunities.
Dur Hospitality’s expansion strategy aims at increasing the number of rooms operated under “Makarem Hotels” brand in the Holy Cities to more than 5000 by 2023, in addition to a number of existing projects in the cities of the Kingdom.
Furthermore, in support of young national talents, Dur Hospitality has entered into a partnership agreement with the College of Business Administration of Umm al-Qura University aimed at opening greater horizons for female and male students who strive to make positive impressions and changes in their workplace.
It is worth mentioning that Dur Hospitality is an avid contributor towards increasing the attractiveness of the hospitality sector in order to draw young Saudi nationals with exceptional capabilities.
The company supports this goal through initiatives such as the “Tahseen” program, which targeted 50 students to develop hospitality industry leaders, as well as the “Your job is your scholarship", a custodian scholarship program for students to study various hotel specialities abroad and work for the company after graduation.
