The Crowne Plaza Palace Hotel in Riyadh has announced concluding its renovation operations, which encompasses its guest rooms on the 6th floor, in addition to a number facilities including indoor lobbies, dining outlets, meeting rooms, and event venues. The renovation augments the value of services offered by the 5-star hotel which includes a total of 304-rooms.
The renovation process was managed by Dur Hospitality, operator of the hotel which is owned by Saudi Hotel Services Company, of which 70% of shares are owned by Dur Hospitality. Renovations will continue over the next period to include all remaining floors within the hotel.
Commenting on this milestone, Mr. Hassan Ahdab, President of Hotel Operations at Dur Hospitality stated that Dur has worked diligently over the past period to augment its services and hospitality offerings to match demands and emerging trends to ensuring complete preparations for the coming phase. He added that the renovation of the prominent Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace comes in time with easing lockdown restrictions across the Kingdom, and aims to provide guests arriving in the Saudi capital with more luxury hospitality options that match their expectations and preferences.
Moreover, the Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace has adopted the IHG Clean Promise, a meticulous hygiene and safety program in partnership with global leading hygiene consultancies Ecolab and Diversey. The hotel’s hygiene and sanitation program encompass world-class health prevention measures, daily deep-cleaning regimen, and rigorous hygiene protocols utilizing hospital-grade disinfectants across all facilities, rooms, and public use areas to ensure its guests a comfortable stay while safeguarding their health and wellbeing.
Notably, the Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace is strategically located in the Ministries Quarter, a popular business district that is close to major Saudi financial institutions and Government offices. The hotel is conveniently located less than a 30 minutes’ drive from the King Khalid International Airport.
